Sugar-coated bullet refers to the medicine which is coated with sugar. The bullet coated with sugar means metaphorically the offensive method with smart disguise which causes easy acceptance among the receivers. After the foundation of People’s Republic of China, Chairman Mao created this phrase to warn the ones who were slack in their revolutionary spirit that all the members of the party should heighten vigilance and political awareness to defend any beautifully disguised offense from the enemy.
