Jeong Seongjoon is one of the most upcoming rising stars in the international art market. In his work, various animals looking humane and doing daily activities have replaced people. His paintings boldly encapsulates the transforming fabric of the current society and the different animals represent the various aspects of Western capitalism. His works allude to the first signs of western influence in Asia’s economy, an influence that would proceed to transform the world.
