This work is a scaled reproduction of “Mizaru”, the artist’s inaugural sculpture created during their first year of study in England. This sculpture draws upon the iconic symbolism of the three wise monkeys, embodying the deliberate refusal to see, hear, or speak evil. It opens a dialogue about what it means to preserve cultural traditions in a globalized world, challenging viewers to consider how we can honor the past while thoughtfully embracing future without causing it harm.
