Art Busan, which was launched in 2012 with the purpose of making Busan the city of art and culture, has become one of the major international art fairs in Korea in seven years. Art Busan has effectively responded to major changes in the art fair environment and acted as an art platform by developing its own unique programs. It has also strived to promote the artistry and aesthetics of Korean artists and introduce young prospective artists to the global art market through a series of curated exhibitions.
